Position Type: Full-time (Contract)
Duration: 11 months

Description:

General Mechanical Inspector-C

--- Certified, or the ability to obtain certification to the below referenced workmanship standards
--- Experience with engineering drawings- review and interpretation
--- Familiarity with common measuring devices - Caliper, Radius Gages, Micrometers, Optical comparator, Deltronic pins , Vision System
--- High attention to detail
--- Able to sit for long periods of time.
--- Team player and strong communication skills
--- Experience creating non-conformances

Preferred Additional Skills:
--- Strong ability to focus, prioritize, and work with cross functional teams
--- Strong written and verbal communication skills
--- Microsoft Word experience
--- Ability to review assembly/ test documentation for appropriate traceability and in accordance with internal company procedures.
--- Experience inspecting to IPC-J-STD-001 Space Addendum and/or NASA 8739.4.
--- Experience with GD&T ( Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing)

Qualifications
--- Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills.
--- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
--- Five years of experience in aerospace

Pay Rate: $30 - $35 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
