Job Description Please note that this position supports our 4th
shift, Weekend Days, Friday - Sunday, 6am to 6pm. You will be paid
a 10% Shift Differential while working 4th shift.Because of the
need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement
to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular
role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will
be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the

Microwave North Factory is seeking a qualified and motivated
individual to fulfill an Operations Microwave Supervisor/Value
Stream Specialist leadership role on the Weekend Shift. This role
would support all microelectronic production areas, including
assembly, test, and environmental testing, and would have direct
management of 15-20 skilled technicians. The candidate will be
responsible for front line daily leadership, planning, organizing,
implementing, and managing activities within a team-based
manufacturing environment. Major areas of responsibility include
establishing and improving manufacturing capabilities for highly
technical products and programs.
Will provide motivation, coaching,
and leadership to team members to ensure the accomplishment of
business objectives including meeting safety, quality, delivery,
cost and company objectives.Maintain an effective and efficient
organization while effectively communicating responsibilities and
objectives to employees.Integrate across the cross-functional team
to achieve objectives to include safety, cost, schedule, and
quality in the daily execution.Collaborate effectively with
customers and suppliers as well as supporting functions for work
critical to the business.Will have experience utilizing Lean
concepts to meet or exceed business and customer
requirements.Adhere to the highest standards of legal, ethical, and
business conduct in relationships with fellow employees, the
Company, suppliers, customers, and the public.Responsibilities
include:
Managing people in a manufacturing
environment. Hiring, developing, coaching, and leading
high-performing teams.Working with cross-functional representatives
including production planning and control, quality management,
systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering,
material management, and process engineering to execute WIP
management to reduce repair turnaround time.Ensures compliance with
all safety and health regulations stated by internal company policy
and Federal, State, and Local applicable standards.Develop staffing
plans for cross-training and shift coverage.Ensuring a culture of
safety and diversity, equity, and inclusion in everything we
do.Support in factory moves/expansion and equipment
validation.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Typically, a bachelor's degree and 2
years or 4-6 years of more progressive work experience without a
degree.Experience lead and mentoring people in a manufacturing
environment, hiring, developing, coaching, and leading
high-performance teams.Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving
interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with management and
employees at all levels.Demonstrated ability to perform detailed
data analysis, identify areas for improvement, and drive focused
actions to initiate change.Ability to understand, analyze, and
resolve complex technical problems.Preferred Education, Experience,
& Skills
Experience with microelectronics
manufacturing and testing.Experience in factory layout, expansion
and work cell optimization.Supply Chain, Program Management, and/or
Quality experience.Experience with 6s, Lean Manufacturing or Kaizen
concepts.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $64130 -
$109010Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
