From scheduling to insurance coordination and more, this position plays a key role in the care process and patient experiencePractice communication and planning skills by coordinating with physicians, clinical MAs, surgical centers, X-ray staff, etc.Utilize and grow EMR skills by documenting patient information, reviewing and distributing test results and executing necessary pre-op documentationSkills and abilities that a medical assistant should possess---A knowledge of EMR systemsA positive attitude and friendly, courteous demeanorStrong written and verbal communicationAbility to comply with all HIPAA requirementsEducation and experience needed---A high school diplomaExperience working with an EMR (EPIC Preferred)Two (2) or more years of medical administrative experience
