**Hood Technician Job Description**

Seeking experienced technicians to clean commercial exhaust systems, maintain equipment, and ensure customer safety in a dynamic team environment.

Impact Fire Services is a leading fire protection company providing installation, maintenance, inspection, monitoring, and retrofit of fire safety systems. Established in 2009, the company has developed long-standing relationships with leading businesses in its markets.

**Job Responsibilities**

* Clean commercial exhaust systems as scheduled to company standards
* Comply with NFPA 96 and Impact Fire Hood and Duct safety standards
* Provide accurate, timely reports and before-and-after pictures of cleanings
* Maintain a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensure a safe environment
* Manage time to complete service calls while maintaining quality
* Achieve weekly productivity goals
* Protect and maintain company equipment
* Power wash commercial kitchen exhaust systems
* Meet cleaning standards as outlined in NFPA 96
* Report results of work completed and pictures in a timely manner
* Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures

**Requirements**

* Flexible work availability, including weekends and overnight shifts
* Comfort with working with chemicals and high-pressure equipment
* Excellent selling, communications, and customer service skills
* Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures
* Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Obtain any licensing and certification required by National, State, and Local codes
* Massachusetts Hood Cleaning License is preferred but not required

**Compensation**

* Hourly pay + commissions
